Last week, Zebar Club launched its fourth club, the ‘Pen and Performance Club,’ drawing an impressive crowd of over 250 students from classes 5 to 12. The inaugural session, led by Ms. Ragini Bharadwaj, a Senior Editor at The Times of India, was hosted by Ms. Sheila Sorkar. The club’s rules and regulations were outlined by the Content Manager, Ms. Navneet Arora Biswas . The students’ enthusiasm was evident as they eagerly participated, displaying a keen interest in honing their writing skills in the digital era. Ms. Ragini discussed how students could channel their creativity through the school newspaper and contribute to Times NIE regularly. The interactive session, lasting almost an hour, saw students actively engaging with the guest speaker. The event was graced by Principal Ms. Sharmistha Sinha, Grievance Redressal Officer Ms. Manju Malaviya, and Vice Principals from all sections. Ms. Khandelwal secured the top position in the IPMAT this year, ranking 1st in the All India category. The event kicked off with the Executive Director, Mr. Manan Choksi, presenting Ms. Bhoomi with a book and conveying his heartfelt congratulations for her remarkable accomplishments. Zebar School For Children celebrated the 9th International Yoga Day and World Music Day. The event included the lighting of the lamp and a prayer, and was graced by the school’s Principal and other esteemed teachers and students. The significance of Yoga and music in daily lives was emphasized, and the universal language of music was celebrated. The students performed yoga poses and mantra for well-being, and the importance of the theme ‘Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ was explained. Breathing techniques, asanas, and meditation were demonstrated. The school band and students performed a fusion song, and the audience was encouraged to cherish music and celebrate its power to unite souls.
