Every child is a different kind of flower, and all together make this world a beautiful garden.” It was depicted by the children of class I A in their class assembly held on 28th June through a short skit on “Everyone is important and special”. The assembly started with a discussion on whether we have treated all our friends the same in the class? Were we biased towards some of our friends? The Skit “Everyone is important and Special” is a story of how we are all different and special and yet all the same at the same time. Once all the numbers from 1 to 9 were feeling proud as they thought that they had value of their own and were special. They made fun of zero as zero has no value of its own, and they thought zero was useless. Then the master showed the numbers an interesting fact by calling each number and placing zero beside them making their value even greater. The numbers were awestruck and realised the importance of zero. They made zero their friend and zero became a hero by joining the number brigade. They celebrated their friendship by dancing to the peppy number –“Zero the Hero”. The moral of this skit was-“ Just as the way the numbers came together forgetting their differences, we humans should also try and forget our differences and always be united and co-exist together making this world a peaceful and liveable place”. The assembly ended with the children sharing a few insights-,” A single twig breaks but a bundle of twigs is strong,” I can do things you cannot, you can do things I cannot, together we can do great things.”
