Assembly on Kranti Divas
Students of Grade 2 D held an Assembly on Kranti Diwas. Shaana Golwala anchored the assembly. The assembly started with the prayer.
The participants were Sanvi Shah, Aahna Patel, Harishree Patel, Jaydevsinh Vaghela, Hridaan Khambholia. Navya Mathur shared the news. The thought of the day ‘Art, freedom and creativity will change society faster than politics.’was shared by Dhriti Baheti. A video on Kranti Diwas was shown to the students. Students danced on a Patriotic Song “ Yeh Desh hai Veer Jawanau ka” . The participants were Ved Parikh, Agniva Pai, Hitarth Dholariya, Aary Mistry, Diskha Joshi, Kashish Parmar, Hirisha Solanki, Shikha Baheti. The assembly concluded with the rendition of National Anthem.
Visit to Science City
Field trips are a great way to introduce new topics which enhance the knowledge of the children. Our Junior Kg children visited Science city. Children were amazed to see the various exhibits, working models, lab and activity corners. Their visit to the Hall of Space, Planet Earth, Life Science Park, the Hall of Science was fascinating.
This trip helped them to understand the basics of science. It was a complete, mesmerizing trip for the children.
Visit to CEE
The children from Junior Kg visited CEE(Centre for Environment Education). Their visit started with interaction with CEE officials. Children played animal based games on the campus of CEE. After the games session, our children visited the animal exhibits. They were also taken for a nature walk in the CEE campus where they saw a large variety of fishes. Our students made collages using dried leaves and flowers.
In the end, our curious children bombarded the CEE officials with their questions. It was knowledge enhancing field trip for our students, in which they learnt how to respect nature and its various forms.
Independence Day
On 15th August 2018, Zebar School for Children celebrated Independence day with zeal and spirit befitting the occasion. The school choir set the pitch for the program with prayer songs. Students of grade 6 sang Vande Mataram, a national song which has aroused people’s emotions since decades and continues to do so.
The trustee of the school Mr. Ramesh Desai hoisted the National Flag as the students of grade 8 sang ‘Jhanda Uncha Rahe Hamara’.The entire atmosphere was pervaded with the vibrations of the patriotic song and ignited the feeling of nationalism. Academic Advisor of Zebar School, Ms Radhika Iyer graced the occasion.
A patriotic speech by Aanya Parekh of grade 8 A highlighted the freedom legacy of our country. She sensitised her peers to work towards fulfilling the promises we made to our freedom fighters.
The Principal,Ms. Sharmistha Sinha in her address said, “Period of misfortune, the rule of the British has ended to give a beginning to a new era where we have to bring in a change…..a change which should lead us to perfection. Ma’am Principal reminded the gathering that we feel more about our rights and less towards our duties and responsibilities. She urged the students to never compromise on values and principles.
Students pledged to remember those patriots who gave them their freedom and salute the martyrs who shed their blood at the borders to secure the security and integrity of our nation.
The function concluded with the rendition of the national anthem.

Assembly of Welcome Monsoon
“The first drops of rain always bring a smile on our faces” ‘Rainy Season’ or ‘Monsoon’ the beautiful season of the year is a gift of God to mankind. It revives our souls and fills the surroundings with the beauty of fresh greenery. To acknowledge this blessed gift of God; students of class I B conducted a special assembly with the theme –Monsoon Mania. Students provided vital information about this season with enthusiasm. Adhip Mukherjee anchored the assembly. The students who participated in prayer were Aarav Patel, Twisha Shah, Vaishvi Soni, Fena Patel, Kanisha Gaggar. Using PowerPoint presentation they shared the information about Monsoon season. They also presented a beautiful rhyme on Raindrops. The rhyme was sung by Swar Patel, Tirth Patel, Kavish Chokshi, Manya Patel, Chahat Patel, Heeya Agrawal, Vrusha Patel. Students also danced to the melodious tunes of a ‘Rainy Day’ song. They expressed the happiness of people when the sky is filled with dark clouds. The participants were Viha Pandya, Dhyana Nayak, Astha Parmar, Maanith Arora, Vrind Patel, Adhip Mukherjee. The weather forecast was shared by Jashvi Shah. Our Vice-Principal Ms. Jayasree Menon appreciated the efforts of our students and teachers. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem.
Internal Body Parts Introduction in Senior Kg
Children in Senior Kg were provided with a life-size diagram of a human body, which displayed all the major internal body parts. The job of each organ was briefly explained in the class. The brain, heart, lungs, stomach, liver, kidneys, intestines were provided in cutouts. The children attached the internal organs of the body to the life-size diagram. The teacher also stressed the importance of a healthy diet and exercise to keep the organs in excellent condition.
Jhalmuri making activity in Junior and Senior
Children of Junior and Senior had a very interesting activity last week. Our children mixed ingredients of Jhalmuri and had the yummy mix for snacks. This activity helped them to learn an easy and healthy food recipe which they can make at home with the help of their mothers. When children make things on their own they become responsible and don’t throw eating tantrums. Of course the habit of sharing was also very pronounced among the children during the snack break.Catch glimpses of the children happily tucking away into Jhalmuri.
Assembly on Guru Purnima | Guru Purnima Speech in English
The students of class III B took great pride in convening the assembly as it provided them with an opportunity to thank all the teachers. Zebar School Students illustrated the significance of Guru Purnima through their assembly. The assembly commenced with the demonstration of life in a Gurukul and the importance of Guru in one’s life. The participants were Apurva, Vedant, Shiven, Shlok, Manav, and Sanyam. Darsham played Guru’s role. Students presented the English speeches of famous gurus like Dronacharya, Chanakya, and Shri Ramakrishna Paramhansa. Viraaj, Dwij, and Rohan delivered these speeches. A beautiful dance performance by Divyanshi and Prisha left everyone mesmerised. Students in the assembly were updated with current events of the world by Divyanshi, Vrinda, and Ridit . A quiz session was conducted by Aryan. Vedant shared the thought of the day. The assembly concluded with the national anthem.
