It is a moment of great joy and pride for Zebar School for Children that our students bagged first prizes in their respective categories in the Rally for Rivers initiative, Saving Rivers: India’s Lifelines, Creative Writing competition.
Meet Parmar of Std 7 and Shivani Rathod of Std 6 both brought glory to the school by winning cash prizes of Rs 3000 each for their first positions in the contest. Of a total of 3 prizes at the Gujarat state level, two were won by our students. It’s a stellar performance by any standard and they were rightfully felicitated by Hon Chief Minister and Education Minister in the presence of Sadhguru who is championing the cause of the rivers.
The young children are sensitive to the needs of the hour and wrote poignantly about it. More power to the pen and those who write for the good of our planet!
#zebar #preprimary kids were assembled to celebrate the eid festival and they were made to understand the importance behind the festival and its celebration. Few children spoke on the same along-with a slideshow in the background for better understanding #eid #eiduladha #celebration #Zebarschool #preprimary
Colourful Rainbow from the sky was brought down to The Zebar School, to celebrate the onset of monsoon; Rainbow Day was celebrated on July 14th 2017.
A special performance was done on the occasion by performing a song about the seven colours standing in rainbow formation. All their attires resembled the colour of rainbow. Later they were engaged in various activities like splashing colours through water guns to form rainbow and throwing coloured water balloons. Making rainbow with colourful sand, last but not the least the old traditional hop scotch was innovatively transformed to rainbow theme instead of numbers.
A beautiful VIBGYOR was created by paper cups. The main objective was to deliver the concept of “Rainbow colours” to the children through hands on activity.
Our Director also joined the celebration. Children were sent home with different craft activities which were prepared by them through the week. Rainbow Day was made memorable with fun and colours.
