Visit To Khoj Museum

Children of Junior KG and Nursery got an opportunity to visit the Khoj Museum. It is the only children’s museum in India in a joint initiative with Zoom Kinder Museum, Vienna. The toddlers were taken to the Bubble Exhibits in the museum. They were thrilled to see bubbles of so many shapes and sizes. The museum in charge showed them the technique to make the perfect bubbles. Our little ones got busy in creating bubbles, and within a short time, the entire floor was full of bubbles. Some of them created bubble hurricanes, bouncing and floating bubbles and also started bubble race with their friends. Our little ones gleamed on seeing the rainbow colours in the big bubbles at the museum. These minute observations help foster curiosity and out of the box thinking at this age, which is required to succeed in the 21st century. For our little ones, it was a day out of their school where they enjoyed with their friends and teachers as well as acquired critical skills which shall help them in becoming life long learners.

Zebarites raise awareness on Deaf Blindness

Empathy is an essential element for a healthy society. As a school, we feel that it is imperative that our students contribute to the community and the various social initiatives undertaken by the non-governmental organisations. To celebrate the indomitable spirit of Helen Keller, who was deaf-blind and an American author as well as a political activist, Sense International India organised a unique charity Cyclothon “ Messengers on Cycles”. Ms. Mili Bhattacharyya, the Vice-Principal of our school, motivated our students to participate in this cyclothon. More than 60 students from Zebar School turned up at the cyclothon on Sunday morning. They knew they were pedalling for a social cause. With every pedal they tried to contribute from their end to the society, raising awareness on what is deaf blindness and sensitising the people of Ahmedabad to understand the issues and problems faced by disabled people. We hope that our students will in the future become responsible, empathetic and sensitive citizens of our nation.

Assembly of 9 C- Conservation of Nature.

It began with the Morning prayer that paved the way for the students to rejuvenate their spirits, remain rooted in the moral values and unleash their vitality.
